Saniflo 50mm Isolation Shut-Off Valve
An inline shut-off valve with 2" solvent-weld connections, ideal for isolating waste flow in pumped systems. Commonly installed alongside macerators and sewage pumps to enable hassle-free maintenance.
Features a full-flow brass body, chemical-resistant components, and manual lever with circular operation. Brass body includes 2" BSP female threads. Kit is completed 2 x male 2" BSP to female (DN55mm) weld end cuffs. Designed for use with non-pressurised black or grey water systems in off-grid locations or temporary site installations.
In order to comply with regulations, isolation valves must be installed on all effluent inlets (e.g. into a sewage lifting station) as well as on the discharge pipe. During standard maintenance / repair to sewage treatment plants (for example) this prevents waste flowing into the unit (from source) or flowing back to the unit (from destination - especially if you are pumping uphill).
