Active Carbon Filter | 50-75mm | Two Way | by Saniflo®

For use with waste water and sewage pumping systems where a vent to the atmosphere is not possible. This unit contains an activated carbon filter ideal for removing unpleasant odours and gaseous contaminates from an air stream. Also allows two-way air passage to enable the pump unit to breathe. 

This compact, 80mm tall carbon filter has a 3" / 75mm inlet but includes a 3" to 2" rubber rubber adaptor sleeve to allow you to connect to either 2" or 3" pipework. 

Designed for use with waste water and sewage pumping systems (including the Saniflo Sanicubic macerating pump) where external venting is impractical or not possible. Ideal for internal installations where odour control is still essential. 

This inline filter connects to the 50-75mm vent outlet of the pump of lifting station, helping to neutralise unpleasant smells using activated carbon media. Some lifting stations may simply require a short length of vertically-mounted rigid pipe running from the top of the waste chamber to which you will attach this carbon filter, especially if the pump station is installed underground.

This filter is particularly useful in enclosed spaces or off-grid setups where standard venting to atmosphere isn’t feasible. Remember: as waste enters any lifting station, air will be displaced and will be forced out of the vent, hence requiring a vent pipe and/or carbon filter.

Supplied ready to fit, the unit is suitable for grey or black water applications and should be mounted horizontally at the vent outlet for optimum performance. Replacement is recommended periodically based on system use and environment.
