WRAS-approved Bulkhead Hansen fitting - with male & female BSP threads. Typically mounted with the (longer) male thread fitted externally. Fitting can be reversed with female side to the tank exterior.
Hansen 'True Fit' threaded fittings are a durable, high strength and UV stabilised, fitting manufactured from high quality Glass Reinforced Nylon (GRN). They offer weather, fungi and bacterial resistance and are fully resistant to salt water, making them suitable in marine applications.

Main Body Tank Fitting: External (male) BSP thread, wide flange, internal female (BSP) thread
Two washers:
Rubber Washer: The more flexible of the two washers supplied. Fits between tank wall and Main Body Tank Fitting.
Low Density Poly Washer: The firmer of the two washers supplied. Fits between tank wall and Back Nut.
Back Nut Internal (female) BSP thread, wide flange.
The heavy duty tapered threads give a strong and reliable seal and the construction minimises the potential for any cross-threading.
