Additional filter material can be bought from this site - you should aim to replace the filter material every three months. Used material can be disposed of it in a composter / standard household waste bin.
The filtered water has a range of applications, provided that no grey water with harmful chemicals or excessive detergents have passed through the system. Use the filtered water on ornamental plants or to irrigate of your lawn.
However, we recommend that you do not use filtered water on edible plants to minimise any potential health risks.
