When this material has "expired" you can either dispose of it in a composter / standard household waste bin. Or, you can use it as mulch for ornamental plants etc... provided that no greywater with harmful chemicals or excessive detergents have passed through the system.
We do not recommend that you use this on edible plants and rather on lawns, shrubs etc... to minimise any potential health risks.
