Product identifier: the Gusher Urchin handpump has a black body and a light blue clamping ring. In the portable toilet industry, this pump is designated as an "underdeck" pump, the main body of which sits inside the toilet tank, mounted beneath the deck / opening lid.
(Please note: nitrile rubber material gives excellent resistance to chemical toilet additives. The Gusher Urchin handpump is also widely used in the marine industry as a bilge pump. Owing to its exposure to the elements and UV, the marine pump version is typically supplied with a neoprene rubber diaphragm, which gives better resistance to weathering, sunlight and ozone).
The diaphragm offered here is not suited to marine applications.
