Air throughput is calculated at 100 cubic metres per hour at a wind speed of 5m per second (11 miles per hour).
Fumes from our septic tank's soil pipe were entering our caravan.The soil pipe originally had a mushroom vent cover that wasn'tgood at dissipating the gases. Since replacing it with the fan the smell has gone. Partly because when there is no wind the gases escape upwards( not downwards from the mushroom vent) through the fan's vanes, and when breezy it actively removes the gases.
